Bernanke Breath

In the pumping madness
Of the locomotive breath,
Runs the big-time Bankster,
Headlong to his death.
He feels his finance failing –
Sweat breaking on his brow –
Sir Alan stole the handle and
Bernanke won't stop going –
No way to slow down.

He sees bagholders jumping off
At the stations — one by one.
His credit and his savings –
All gone and no more funds.
He’s pleading as a mortgagor…
On his hands and knees –
Sir Alan stole the handle and
The pain just won't stop growing –
No way to slow down.

He hears the old folks howling –
Grasp at offers as rates fall.
And the all-time winner
Has got him by the balls.
He picks up Goldman's Bible –
Open at page one –
Sir Alan stole the handle and
Bernanke won’t stop going –
No way to slow down.
